Saturday 17th June in the Goudes

I plan to go hiking in the south of Marseille, near a fishing village called the Goudes. From the calanque of Callelongue (picture on the left), we will walk towards the calanque of Marseilleveyre (picture on the right) [2km - 50min] or the calanque Les Queyrons (large picture below) [2,6km - 1h].

I propose to take a lunch (picnic) in one of the calanques and enjoy the sun and the sea.

Go back then to the village to walk towards the Baie des Singes, another beautiful place of the Goudes (sea picture of the village below).

For the evening, I invite you to see the concert of the symphonic orchestra where I play viola. We will play the The Sorcerer's Apprentice, a symphonic poem by the French composer Paul Dukas, some dances of the composer Manuel De Falla and the Danse macabre, Op. 40, a poem for orchestra, written by the French composer Camille Saint-Saëns. The concert will be at 9:00 pm inside the music conservatory of Marseille. More information here (in french).

You could eat before of after the concert, at home or near the conservatory in the Cours Julien.
