Paulette's Shed

The Shed of Paulette (Cabanon de Paulette in french) is located on the Abri-cotier beach, between the Bain des Dames and the Anse des Sablettes, on the boulevard des baigneurs in the 8th district of Marseilles. It is open all summer from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. every day.

I love going there for lunch with a good burger, after discovering the Goudes seabed with the diving clubAtelier de la Mer (see the diving tab for the different clubs and dive sites) . In the evening, between a few swims, it's a rosé tapas atmosphere with background music facing the sunset. The place is magnificent, perfect for relaxing as a couple, with family or friends.

The menu offers tapas such as camembert or goat cheese croquettes, dishes prepared with fresh products such as tuna tartare or octopus with lime, burgers served with fries and mussels cooked in different sauces. The bar serves you different wines, by the glass or by the bottle, cocktails and soft drinks.

I strongly advise to book, by private messages on their Instagram or Facebook. The place is very popular as soon as the sun comes out and it becomes difficult to get a table. If you don't have any fear, the Cabanon offers floor mats or towels to settle down for dinner in the sand on the beach.

Furthermore, the restaurant does not accept credit cards. The nearest counter is a 15-minute walk away, the CIC bank at 43 Avenue de Montredon.

Address: Boulevard des Baigneurs, 13008 Marseille
