The restaurant Le Chalet du Pharo is one of the must-see places in Marseille. Located in the heart of Pharo Park, sa terrace overlooks the sea with a breathtaking view of the Mucem and the Vieux-Port.
Whether it's for lunch on the terrace overlooking the Old Port or dine facing the sunset, I advise you to book your table on the restaurant's website because the tables fill up quickly.
From my point of view the prices of the card are not given, we also pay for the superb view. The cuisine is prepared with fresh products and tends to gain in subtlety from year to year.
At lunch, I personally tasted the breaded chicken burger with panko and its homemade curry avocado mayonnaise (20€), as well as the roasted Saint-Marcellin salad with honey (18€) - see photos below. The menu offers other salads and pastas of the day around €20, octopus, sea bass and lamb around €28.
At dinner, the starter menu is around €22, main courses €30 and desserts €10. On Sunday evenings only, the restaurant offers tapas and good cocktails.
