La Cantinetta opened in 2006 at the end of Cours Julien and is an institution of Italian know-how in Marseille. This small patio-terrace offers Italian dishes that are both original and classic.
A unique menu with fresh, seasonal products that change regularly. In terms of price, the risotto is €18, the pasta varies between €16 and €26 depending on the product: tagliatelle with prawns are more expensive than rigatoni all'arrabiata (stomato sauce flavored with garlic, chilli and basil) or linguine with raw ham and parmesan.
La Cantinetta also offers excellent desserts between 6€ and 8€ such as the famous Italian tiramisu (photo below on the left), the panna cotta with red fruits, the strawberry Vacherin or the soft chestnut that I love (photo below on the right). Certain digestives such as limoncello or the Espresso Martini cocktail, vodka and coffee liqueur (photo below in the middle) are very popular at the end of a meal.
