I suggest a very short hike to the Calanque des Anthénors near Ensuès La Redonne, a small fishing port typical of the blue coast. This 30-minute walk with very little elevation is a good hiking/swimming ratio when it's very hot in the summer. Moreover, this calanque is not well known to tourists and Marseilles, you will have few people.
I advise you to park in the Ensuès la Redonne station car park, here. If you can't find a space, you have other car parks higher up on Avenue du plateau de graffiane. Then go down to the port of Ensuès la Redonne passing under the railway and through the village.
The Calanque des Anthénors where I am taking you is located between the port of Ensuès la Redonne and the Calanque de Figuières. It is a pebble beach famous for its clear and very pure water.
Do not hesitate to spend time on the port and in the bay of Ensuès la Redonne. With the viaduct and the vegetation, one has the impression of being in a small paradise.
The path to follow is very simple: take the Cor des Anthénors then the coastal path to the creek, at the GPS coordinates here. Go down the stairs that lead to the creek and do not hesitate to walk along the coast along the pebbles to find a quiet corner.
