In the heart of the Marseille Opera district, the Deïa is a brunch institution in Marseille! The restaurant opens at 9am, I advise you to arrive before 10am if you don't want to queue for an hour. The menu changes with each season, but still keeps certain signature dishes like eggs Benedict with salmon (photo below on the right) that I always take. Their Hollandaise Cheddar Sauce is delicious! In spring you can also enjoy a savory brioche served with a hummus of peas with fresh mint, feta, strawberries, olive oil with lemon and roasted almonds. And for dessert, there are fluffy English pancakes well filled, delicious! The sweet or savory dish is around €14, cold or hot drinks around €4. The Deïa notably offers black sesame lattes (photo below on the left), others with beetroot and rose or even Chaï lattes.
