About me
Simon Landry
Originally from Bordeaux, I arrived in Marseille 6 years ago. Passionate about cooking and nature, I share with you in this blog my favorite addresses of restaurants, bars and emblematic places in and around Marseille.
Between land and sea, the Phocaean city and its surroundings offer many activities, both for gourmets and for sports enthusiasts, nature lovers or even travellers-adventurers. There are quite a few secret corners in Marseille. We go down by alleys towards small ports, hidden coves. We hurtle down the cobblestones to reach the sea, the boats moored between the colorful houses and the grilled smells. We climb a few peaks to admire the immensity and recharge our batteries. Marseille is beautiful when you know how to appreciate it.
Capital of culture in 2013, Marseille offers a very strong culinary diversity: American, English, Italian brunches, restaurants of Mexican, Lebanese, Moroccan, Egyptian, Italian cuisine, Spanish or French tapas, French, Asian gastronomy,... everything is gathered to travel and share together.
A must-see place: the Calanques massif, a marvel of nature nestled between Marseille and La Ciotat. I give you in this blog the most beautiful hikes in the creeks, on foot or by canoe, for lovers of snorkeling and or tanning sessions.
